Blind Cadillac Boy in Running to Win Bike Contest
Friendship Circle of Michigan is giving away 10 adaptive bikes that allow special needs children to enjoy the thrill of a bike ride…. and one boy in Cadillac is in the top running for one of these bikes.
9 year old Wesley Gibson was born without eyes, and has a condition that causes him to have poor motor skills.
Wesley is currently in the running to win his own special adaptive bike known as a buddy bike. The bike would allow Wesley to ride with the assistance of an adult.
Wesley’s mother, Janet Gibson, has been using the power of social media to help her get the word out about the contest.
One bike is being given away to the entry with the most nominations in each category. Nominations are sent in by people clicking a “nominate button” on the child’s page.
