Work Panel Gives Students Chance to Learn From Local Businesses
Students were given the chance to gain some real world advice from local businesses.
It was through a work Ethics Panel that was held at the Wexford Missaukee Career Technical Center on Monday.
The panel invited all first year students to ask questions and learn real world advice from employees of local businesses.
The students learned from the employees, who shared their opinions and experience with them.
And to continue to help the students to learn, about half way through the panel two teachers came in, dressed and acting like “bad examples” of what not to do when trying to get a job.
Later on they would return showing students better examples of what TO do.
The goal of the panel was to give students a chance to hear real world advice, coming from a real world employees.
This was the third panel held and the CTC says they’ve gotten positive feedback from both the students and the businesses involved from each one.
