Wexford County Woman Wins $500k In Lottery Scratch-Off
A Wexford County woman is planning a trip out west after winning big in the Michigan Lottery.
The 50 year-old woman, who chose to remain anonymous, won $500,000 playing the 20X The Cash instant game.
She says she stopped at the N. Mitchell St. Wesco and bought a ticket from the self-serve machine.
But when she got out to her car and scratched the ticket off, she saw that she had won and it “floored” her.
She showed the ticker to her sister and another retailer and, once it was confirmed, she began packing her bags for California.
And in addition to taking a trip to California, the woman plans to save retirement, pay bills, and share with her children.
According to the Lottery, players have won more than $8 million playing 20X The Cash, which launched in January.
