A former Grand Traverse County Jail administrator may spend up to 10 years behind bars.
Friday Todd Ritter was sentenced to 60 to 120 months jail time for embezzlement and neglect of duty.
Back in 2019, Ritter was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with former inmates, embezzlement, and using his work phone to send sexual pictures and texts.
Ritter pleaded guilty to Embezzlement and Neglect of Duty in December.
Ritter began serving his sentence at Leelanau County Jail Friday.
