Tyson Foods Recalling Over 3,100 Pounds of Chicken Tenderloins
Tyson Foods is recalling over 3,100 pounds of breaded chicken tenderloins.
This comes after the company says they were notified by a supplier that an ingredient may contain pieces of blue and clear soft plastic.
The ingredient was used in production of Tyson Uncooked, Breaded, Original Chicken Tenderloins.
The recall is limited to foodservice customers, and affected products are not available for purchase in retail stores.
Tyson also says none of their other products are affected.
At this time, there have been no reports of illnesses or injuries associated with the affected product.
Tyson says the tenderloins were produced on May 17th of this year and have a lot code of 1378NLR02.
The company is now working with affected customers to retrieve and/pr remove all recalled products initially shipped to states including Michigan.
