Two Arrested for Multiple Breaking and Enterings in Mason County
Two men were taken into custody after deputies were called to a break-in.
Around 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon, Mason County Deputies were called to the 6900 block of Lake Street in the Tallman Lake area of Branch Township for a reported breaking and entering.
While checking the area, deputies found three additional break-ins of cabins.
They followed the foot tracks for about a half mile to another residence, where deputies found two suspects.
After securing the suspect’s home, a search warrant was obtained and deputies reportedly recovered nearly 50 pieces of suspected stolen property.
TV’s, power tools, propane tanks, yard tools and household appliances were all said to have been found in the home.
Deputies arrested two men Fountain on multiple counts of breaking and entering and home invasion.
They are 34-year-old Lee Hamilton Colby and 26-year-old Chad Fredrick Collins.
Both remain lodged in the Mason County Jail.
