Two Arrested after Deputies Called to Disturbance in Leelanau County
Two men were arrested after deputies were called to a disturbance in Leelanau County.
At midnight on Saturday deputies were called to the disturbance on South Spyglass Ridge Drive in Leelanau County.
They were told that a vehicle was parked at the end of a driveway and several people were outside of it yelling.
When they arrived deputies found the vehicle and four people, two men and two women.
According to deputies the four were arguing while driving on M-22 when the driver pulled off onto Spyglass Drive.
The driver and one of the women got out and continued arguing.
The man pushed the woman, which is when the other man got out of the vehicle and confronted the driver while holding a knife.
The argument continued, but the woman was able to get the knife out of the man’s hand.
The man who had the knife, a 19-year-old from Suttons Bay was arrested under suspicion of felony assault.
The driver, a 32-year-old, also from Suttons Bay, was arrested for drunk driving.
Both were lodged in the Leelanau County Jail.
