Roadworks Project Along US-31 in Manistee County Starts Monday
While at times it might not seem like it, we are approaching spring and with that MDOT is beginning their road projects.
One of those projects is expected to begin next week in Manistee County.
Starting next Monday MDOT plans to construct a retaining wall and stabilize the Bear Lake shoreline along US-31.
The work will near Highland Drive.
The $880,000 project is said to help stabilize the roadway, and it includes repair of settled pavement and the guardrail will be replaced.
Drivers will want to plan for delays as during construction one lane of alternating traffic will be controlled with a temporary signal.
The project starts on March 19th and is expected to wrap up by Friday, May 25th.
