Reed City Man Arrested for Threats Against Ferris State, Hospitals, Others
A man was arrested after he allegedly made threats against Ferris State University, hospitals, and others.
At around 3AM Sunday, police became aware of multiple videos posted by a person expressing potentially threatening feelings.
According to the state police, the feelings were directed at Ferris State University, area hospitals, the Veterans’ Affairs office, and military police personnel.
The suspect was quickly identified and found, police say, so they could ensure he was not acting against the organizations.
The Osceola County prosecutor ultimately issued a warrant for the suspect, identified as a 33-year-old Reed City man.
He was taken into custody at his home sunday evening.
He’s now being held in the Osceola County Hail on $1 million bond.
