Police: Woman Arrested After Stabbing, Seriously Injuring Two People in Cadillac
A woman is in custody after police say she stabbed two people in Cadillac.
At around 7:29 Saturday morning, Cadillac Police were dispatched to 1140 S. Mitchell Street for the report of an assault where two people had been stabbed.
Once on scene, officers found a 29 year-old Cadillac man and a 21 year-old Cadillac woman suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Police say the suspect, a 26 year old Cadillac woman, had fled the scene.
EMS responded to the scene and took both victims to Munson Cadillac for treatment.
The woman was stabilized and air lifted to Munson Traverse City in critical condition.
The man was hospitalized in serious but stable condition.
Through the course of their investigation, police located the suspect at a home in Cherry Grove Township.
She was taken into custody without incident and lodged at the Wexford County Jail on the charges of Attempted Murder.
The suspect’s name is being withheld pending arraignment.
