Police Release Photos From Armed Robbery In Wexford County
Police are searching for a suspect following a robbery in Wexford County.
At around 1:50 Saturday afternoon, a man wearing a mask walked into the Allied Cash Advance on 34 Rd. in Haring Township.
The man threatened the employee with a handgun and demanded money.
He then took off on foot going towards Hobby Lobby.
Several agencies responded to the scene and began looking for the man.
Two potential suspects were located through witness statements, but were questioned and released.
Troopers then began a more extensive search using a canine, but were unable to find the suspect.
Now, surveillance footage from the scene and other and surrounding businesses are being reviewed for leads.
The suspect was wearing a green vest over a long sleeved shirt, a camouflage boonie style military/hunting hat, boots, gloves and something covering his face.
Police say the weapon used appears to be a silver and black semi-automatic handgun.
Authorities are asking anyone with information or who saw the suspect to contact local law enforcement.
Back on April 21st, another cash advance store was robbed less than half a mile away.
It is currently unknown if the two are connected.
That suspect is also still at large.
