Person Of The Week This Week Is Jason Leonard
This week’s Person Of The Week is a man making a difference in his students lives and those they interact with.
Jason Leonard is the Physical Education Teacher at Kingsley High School where he teaches 6 classes a day to his students.
Alongside teaching, he is the head coach of the Varsity Football team as well as assisting with many of the other sports teams and running the weight room after school.
This year he also helped pilot a new program at the school called Boys into Men where he taught his Male students how to properly treat and respect females both inside and out of school over a ten week period.
Leonard was pleased that the program made an impact and that it was getting the attention it deserved
For his work teaching students in every aspect, Jason Leonard receives the title of this week’s Person of the Week.
If you know of someone who’s working hard in their own community — whether that’s by getting involved with a non-profit, creating something new in the area, or just affecting northern Michigan in their own special way — send an email to email@example.com.
Tell us who you’d like to nominate for the person of the week, why you think they should receive that title, and how we can reach them — Each week, we’ll broadcast one of these nominees as the “Person of the Week.”
