Person Of The Week: Joseph Marsiglia
This week’s Person of the Week is a Brigadier General in the U.S. Army Reserves and helps serve veterans locally.
Joseph Marsiglia is Assistant Surgeon General for Mobilization, Readiness and Army Reserve Affairs, as well as the Deputy Commanding General for Army Reserve Medical Command.
He also served as Deputy Commander for Task Force Medical Falcon in Kosovo and as Executive Officer for the 801st Combat Support Hospital in Kuwait and Iraq.
In his civilian capacity, Marsiglia works as a Senior Consultant to the NMCAA Supportive Services for Veteran Families Program in Gaylord.
So, for his service to his country and his community, Brigadier General Joseph Marsiglia is this week’s person of the week.
If you know of someone who’s working hard in their own community, creating something new in the area, or just affecting northern Michigan in their own special way and you’d like to nominate them — send an email to email@example.com.
Tell us who you’d like to nominate for the person of the week, why you think they should receive that title, and how we can reach them — Each week, we’ll broadcast one of these nominees as the “Person of the Week.”
