Person Of The Week: Daniel Trautner
This week’s Person of the Week is local teen that volunteers any way he can around his community.
Daniel Trautner is a senior at Cadillac High School and is in the Wexford-Missuakee Career Tech Center’s Applied Construction Technologies program.
Daniel is also a volunteer in the Cadillac community, serving on the Youth Advisory Council, Student and Class Council, and even helps his friend in a wheel chair.
This summer, Daniel also hopes to use the skills her learned at the CTC to help habitat for humanity and build a house.
He says he receives positive feedback for what he does and says he owes his civic mind to his parents.
Daniel told us that he loves volunteering and always wants to help.
So, for his service to the community, Daniel Trautner is this week’s person of the week.
If you know of someone who’s working hard in their own community, creating something new in the area, or just affecting northern Michigan in their own special way and you’d like to nominate them — send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tell us who you’d like to nominate for the person of the week, why you think they should receive that title, and how we can reach them — Each week, we’ll broadcast one of these nominees as the “Person of the Week.”
