Manistee-Huron National Forest: Marijuana Still Illegal at National Forests
Marijuana remains illegal in Michigan’s national forests.
That’s the message the Huron-Manistee National Forests staff have for park visitors.
The Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marijuana Act does not oust federal regulations and marijuana remains a schedule I controlled substance under federal law.
Marijuana users are asked to be mindful of national forest suspect boundaries.
