Man, Company Accused of Scamming Over $2 Million from Investors
A man and his company are facing several charges for reportedly running a scam.
John Von Stach and VSP North America each received one count of Conducting a Criminal Enterprise and 20 counts of obtaining money by false pretenses.
VSP reportedly sold itself as a renewable energy company that specialized in manufacturing solar powered generators.
Investors were allegedly told that VSP sells the generators to dealers across the county.
However, multiple investors reported that they never received payment from the dealers.
In total, Investigators say investors were scammed out of more than $2 million by Von Stach.
He was arraigned on Monday with a bond set at $1.5 Million.
His next court appearance is scheduled for June 19th.
