LARA: 11 New Conditions Now Qualify for Medial Marijuana Treatment
LARA has announced 11 new conditions that qualify Michiganders to apply for the Medical Marijuana Program.
The new conditions include:
- Chronic Pain
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Spinal Cord Injury
- Tourette’s Syndrome
- Ulcerative Colitis
According to LARA’s director, the inclusion of marijuana-infused products and the advancement of marijuana research were part of her decision to add the conditions.
Although, several other diagnoses were denied; including anxiety, asthma, brain injuries, depression, and diabetes.
