GM Issues Recall on Over 600,000 SUV’s and Trucks
GM recalls more than 600,000 four wheel drive trucks and SUV’s.
GM says the recalls are due to a software error that can activate the breaking system.
The recall covers the 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2015-2020 Chevrolet Suburban, 2015-2020 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2014-2018 GMC Sierra and the 2015-2020 Yukon models.
General Motors says these vehicles worldwide, are potentially affected, but no accidents have been reported.
GM officials say driving in two wheel drive can possibly decrease the risk of triggering the breaking error.
If you have any of these trucks or SUV’s, GM will look over your vehicle(s) software free of charge.
