Elberta Man Behind Bars After Investigation Leads to Pandering, Weapons Charges
An Elberta man is behind bars after an investigation leads to pandering and potential weapons charges.
Police arrested 57 year-old Kenneth Bonney after investigating a complaint that he was attempting to solicit women into prostitution.
Traverse Narcotics Team detectives began an investigation and found evidence
of a plot where Bonney was looking to hire women for sex acts.
After conducting multiple searches, investigators found a hidden room containing additional evidence supporting the initial complaint.
Their search also revealed evidence that Bonney, a convicted felon, was in possession of several firearms.
Officers took Bonney into custody where he is now facing felony charges for Pandering and could spend up to 20 years in prison.
This investigation is on-going, and additional charges may be issued.
