Detroit Police: Cremated Remains Found at Abandoned Funeral Home
Detroit police are investigating after they discovered nearly three dozen cremated remains inside a funeral home.
They conducted a search at the abandoned Howell Funeral Home Wednesday.
And, according to officers, they found the remains in the building’s attic and basement.
Police say they are still working to identify them.
This is the third Detroit funeral home in recent months where cremated human remains have been discovered.
Late last year, both the Cantrell and Perry Funeral Homes came under investigation for similar incidents.
