Delta Airlines Issuing Travel Waivers for Michigan Flights Affected by Snow Friday
The weather forecasted for this week has airlines warning of possible impacts to flights out of southern Michigan.
Delta airlines is issuing travel waivers for Michigan flights scheduled on Friday due to heavy snow in the forecast.
Flights that are booked to and from Michigan on Friday must be reissued on or before February 12th, which is Monday.
The rebooked travel must also begin no later than Monday as well.
The Michigan airports that are affected are Detroit, Flint, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Saginaw.
Rescheduled travel beyond Monday can still be done and change fee will be waived, however differences in the fare may apply.
Final travel must be completed by the end of the ticket’s validity, which is one year from the issue date.
