Copemish Man Facing Charges for Assaulting Girlfriend Over a 36 Hour Period
State Police arrested a Copemish man after a complaint he assaulted his girlfriend and prevented her from getting help.
A state trooper met with the victim, a 22-year-old Mesick woman at Munson Medical Friday.
The woman reported that her boyfriend, 29-year-old Jesse Revolt, had assaulted her over a 36-hour period.
The victim says she was at Revolt’s residence, was not allowed to leave and that he took her cell phone so she would not be able to call for help.
On Friday, she was able to find her cell phone. She called her mother who took her to Munson, where she met the trooper.
The trooper located and arrested Revolt at his home later that day.
He is facing felony charges including Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm less than Murder, Aggravated Domestic Assault, and Interfering with the use of a Telecommunication Device.
