A Boyne City Man Has Been Arrested After Fleeing From Police
What started out as a simple moving violation stop became much more complicated after a Boyne City resident fled from Michigan State Police.
An officer attempted to stop 50-year-old Geoffrey Glenn Pasfield for a moving violation, however, when they turned on their lights, Pasfield fled.
Instead of pursuing the vehicle, the officer broadcasted a “Be On The Look-Out” for Pasfield.
After another failed stop, a deputy from Emmet County Sheriff’s Office followed Pasfield to a home on Cedar Valley Road.
It was there they found Pasfield and he was arrested after resisting.
Pasfield was arraigned Monday and his bond is held at $10,000.
His next court appearance is on march 3rd at 2 p.m.
