CherryT Ball Drop To Celebrate New Year in T.C.

The new year is just around the corner, and Traverse City will be celebrating the start of the year with their annual CherryT ball drop.

The charity event — which starts at 9pm tomorrow — packs the intersection of Front and Cass streets in Traverse City for an evening of music and celebration, all leading up to the drop off a giant cherry to ring in the new year. The ball drop itself is free to attend, though there is a charge if you want VIP access or to attend some of the other downtown Traverse City events that tie in with the celebration.

If you can’t make it to the New Year’s event, be sure to tune in right here to MI News 26 tomorrow evening — we’ll be broadcasting the ball drop LIVE from 9:30pm until 12:15am.
