Canning Class Coming to Cadillac

A canning class is coming to Cadillac today.
MSU Extension will offer a basic food preservation class this evening, giving anyone interested in canning a chance to learn more about safely saving food. Tutorials on tasks such as water bath canning, pressure canning and freezing will all be offered; organizers of the class say there are many benefits to preserving food for later use.
The class will take place tonight from 6 to 8:30 at the First Congregational Church on East Harris Street in Cadillac. The cost is $10 per person, payable at the door. For more information or to register, call 779-9480.
This would be really nice to go to. It is a shame that ALL the open houses for school are tonight at the same time. Hope they decide to have another one. A lot of ppl are going to miss out on this one because of open houses
